At A Minha Terapia, led by Psychologist Eliza Chagas (CRP 04/66409), the privacy, clinical confidentiality, and protection of your personal and mental health data are sacred pillars of our psychological practice.

1. Professional Confidentiality (Code of Ethics)

All therapeutic sessions, clinical notes, and communications are strictly protected by professional secrecy, in full compliance with Article 9 of the Code of Professional Ethics of the Brazilian Federal Council of Psychology (CFP). What you share in therapy remains entirely confidential, with legal exceptions strictly limited to imminent risk to life.

2. Data Collection and Usage

We collect only the minimum necessary data to provide effective clinical psychotherapy and administrative scheduling:

• Identification & Contact: Full name, email address, WhatsApp telephone number, and time zone for session scheduling.
• Clinical Intake: Relevant psychological history shared voluntarily during consultations.
• Billing Details: Invoicing information handled via secure global payment processors (Stripe, Wise, or PIX). We never store your full credit card credentials.

3. Security in Online Telehealth

Consultations are conducted through end-to-end encrypted video conferencing platforms compliant with international privacy standards. Clinical records are stored on secure, access-restricted cloud infrastructure compliant with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Lei 13.709/2018) and international privacy principles.

4. Patient Rights

Regardless of where you reside globally, you have the right to request access to your registered contact information, request corrections, or ask for the deletion of non-mandatory administrative records, subject to professional medical-legal record-retention requirements established by the CFP.
